Species Conservation Management Plans

In 2016, during the 6^th Meeting of the Parties to ACCOBAMS, Parties decided change the template for conservation plans and have chosen to use the new one annexed to Resolution 6.21 for conservation management plans (CMP) in the ACCOBAMS Area.

In 2022, during the 8^th Meeting of the Parties to ACCOBAMS, the Parties adopted Resolution 8.14 which asks the Scientific Committee to consider drafting a CMP for the following species/populations: Mediterranean sperm whales, Mediterranean Cuvier’s beaked whales and Black Sea cetaceans.
