Release of the ACCOBAMS Survey Initiative results in the Mediterranean and Black Sea – Online event on 22 April 2021

At the occasion of the release of the reports, the ACCOBAMS Secretariat organizes on 22 April an online event to present the main findings of the ACCOBAMS Survey Initiative (ASI) in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.

The ASI led in 2018 and 2019 to the first marine megafauna monitoring campaigns ever carried out at the scale of the Mediterranean Sea and of the Black Sea through the CeNoBS project.  After two years of intensive in-depth analysis of the data, the reports of the results are made available for the best and widest possible use, at the service of the conservation of the marine environment.

The event will be held from 14:00 to 14:40 Monaco time (CET) and will consist of a brief presentation of the ASI Reports, highlighting the key results in relation to cetacean’s species, followed by a Q&A session open to all participants.

Interpretation will be provided in English and French.

 

The ASI Mediterranean and Black Sea survey reports will be made available here on the day of the event.
