Two positions of Programme and Projects Officer have opened at the ACCOBAMS Secretariat.
The positions are based at the ACCOBAMS Secretariat, hosted by the Principality of Monaco.
Full-time, fixed-term contracts of 1 year (renewable once), with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Partial remote work (teleworking) is possible.
Planned start date: 1st February 2026
This data call is launched under the framework of the ACCOBAMS Programme of Work 2023 – 2025 and as part of the cooperation with UNEP/MAP regarding the implementation of IMAP.
Subject: Gathering data on Impulsive Noise Events and Continuous Noise in the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions to support the implementation of MSFD-D11 (Criteria 1 and 2) and IMAP Common Indicators 26 and 27.
Use of the data: Data will contribute to the monitoring and assessment of underwater noise in the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions by the ACCOBAMS Permanent Secretariat and related expert groups. Continuous noise data will be mainly used for the verification and calibration of regional acoustic models implemented in the NETCCOBAMS platform. Impulsive noise event data will be used to feed the Noise Register of the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions, also integrated into the same platform.
