ACCOBAMS Workshop on “The identification of new ACCOBAMS CCH: a collaborative threat-based management approach”
The ACCOBAMS Permanent Secretariat is pleased to inform you that a specific workshop on CCH will be organized on Tuesday 9th April 2019 – (14:15-18:30) during the 5th International Conference on Marine Mammal Protected Areas (ICMMPA5).
The objective of the workshop is to provide an overview of main human activities in the ACCOBAMS area, main resulting threats for cetaceans, and of examples of existing legislative framework and proposed mitigation measures in some specific areas with their strengths and weaknesses.
Recommendations of the workshop will assist the ACCOBAMS Permanent Secretariat in providing the Countries with advices on targeted and effective conservation measures.
